Thanks so much for the nice comments. I've noticed that there are a lot of love poems here on MT...but I'm not sure why that is. I, for one, am not particularly adept at writing love poems. Myabe cause I've never been in love? Eh, I dunno; that's a mystery for another day. I'm really glad that you liked my poem...I was kind of afraid that it'd scare people if they read it, or if it might raise questions as to how I can write that sort of thing ("Is she depressed or something?", etc.). But most people have said that they liked it, and it makes me really happy; similar to the way you feel when people compliment you on your drawings.

Anyway, what's been up, girl? Like I said, I haven't talked to you in forever! It was a very pleasant surprise to see a comment from you on my poem. So how's life? Going well, I hope; I assume that you're pretty busy with college (or whatever the school level you're attending is called). Still drawing? I really hope so...almost as much as I hope you're still writing. You've got talent, girl; make sure it doesn't go to waste! It's sad that I haven't been able to talk to you recently...but you did say you'd end up getting busy with school, and I knew the same would happen with me and soccer. Not to mention the different time zones we're in.

Well, it's late, and I gotta go...I need to finish writing a book report that's due tomorrow, as well as studying for my civics test. I hope all is well, and that I'll get a response from you in the near future!
